I wonder whether a lot less people are taking holidays this year. With the recession it seems like people are either not going at all or planning a cheaper option than they normally take. We have decided to just go and stay at our local beach rather than going abroad. I am sure the children will enjoy it just as much, if not more. Before we go I do need to get a new luggage set as ours was damaged last year. I am hoping that I will be able to get a good bargain as a lot of places seem to have low prices or sales on at the moment. I want some top quality luggage as I think that ours was damaged because it was cheap, and so I am going to get some Samsonite luggage as I know that they are a good brand, my parents have had their set for a very long time. I like to go for good quality even if it means paying a bit more money as at least you know that it will last for ages and not break up after a few uses.

I have just bought myself a new trail camera and cannot wait to try it out properly. I have been using it in the house and garden, just to get used to it, so that I can make full use of it on my next hunting trip, but it is hardly the same as using it for real. Problem is that the weather has just not been right for a trip lately and when it was good, the friend that I go with was unwell. He has bought a new digital rangefinder and predator calls so he is anxious to try that out as well. I think once we actually go on the trip, we will have to make it a really long one, so that we get a really good chance to play with our new toys! I have already planned the spot where we are going to go and I have even started packing up my equipment ready as I am hopeful that it will be really soon. I am sure that both of our wives will be glad to see the back of us as well as it is all we have been talking about since we got them!
