I have the unfortunate job of trying to choose nice nursing home in Houston for my parents. It is not, nice to think that they have to go in to a home but I need to focus on finding them something suitable. I would really like to care for them myself but I do not have the space and they would not dream of letting me do it anyway. I suppose that being cared for by professionals in one of the Houston nursing homes is the best thing for them both really. I will be able to go and visit them just as much as I do now and I will not have to worry about doing their shopping and cleaning and things. I did enjoy doing these jobs and looking after them but I know that it will be easier for me and I will be able to spend more time with them rather than doing things, if they are in one of the nursing homes San Antonio. I think that I just need to accept the situation and move on really, hoping that I will come to terms with it sometime. I think concentrating on choosing a good place will take my mind off the reality that they are getting old and having to move. I hope that I can do them justice and find a super place for them.
