I run a small successful shop and I have decided that it is time that I started offering an on line service. I never thought that it was necessary before because I tend to appeal to quite a local market and I have had no trouble attracting customers. However, lately I have found that the shop is not a busy as it used to be and I have been finding it hard to sell certain items. I have also had some customers asking me if they can buy things from me on line. I realise that selling on line will be time consuming and hard work and I may also have to adapt what I am selling there as what I sell in the shop may not be the right thing to sell on line. However, this is the easy bit, because I know nothing about setting up a website or processing eChecks and other payments. I have even started coming across new terms such as EFT Payment which I know that I will have to learn all about if I want to make a success of it. I have decided that I will spend a little bit of time each day learning about on line selling and I will hopefully soon have enough knowledge and confidence to start to do something about it.

I went to a great wedding recently. The whole thing was great fun and everything was done to keep the guests entertained and happy, which was fantastic. The ceremony itself was taken very seriously but everything afterwards was light-hearted. The groom is Australian and he gave his groomsmen great groomsmen gifts. I thought it was a really great wedding, probably the best I have been to. I guess the fact that it was all so relaxed, so much fun but also well organised with lovely food and plenty of drink was what made it such a great occasion.They all had personalized koozies which I thought was typically Australian as we do not get them in the UK, I guess the weather is not warm enough for a beer to get warm! The bride’s father and grooms father had rather less casual gifts - they had personalized shot glasses which I thought were great. The girls did not have alcohol based gifts but had some lovely jewellery because they were chosen by the bride. There was quite a lot of Australian influence in the reception with some Australian flowers on the tables and some Australian songs at the disco. I thought it was a really great wedding, probably the best I have been to. I guess the fact that it was all so relaxed, so much fun but also well organised with lovely food and plenty of drink was what made it such a great occasion.

All the packaged food items that we eat today would have used refrigeration engineering before they come to our dining table. A lot of technology is under work to preserve these foods after they are harvested and before they reach us without being spoilt. Industrial refrigeration systems that use ammonia refrigeration play an important role in processing the food items. Since ammonia is used in refrigeration they are also referred to as the ammonia refrigeration systems.

The principle in which our refrigeration works is the same that is used in industrial refrigeration too. The difference being that ammonia is used as the coolant in industrial refrigeration. Our refrigerators use a non-toxic coolant called the CFC. Ammonia is dangerous when human is exposed to it. Hence a lot of safety measures are taken for workers working in the food processing industry. Safety management is the focus in such industries.

Meat processing industry, fish industry, poultry industry, dairy industry, and horticulture industry are some of the industries that benefit a lot using products that come as a result of refrigeration engineering. It also finds its use in air conditioning. Ammonia refrigeration is also used in air-conditioning in office rooms, clubs, hotels, hospitals, and airports.
