My Special Gift
I have just received one of the most lovely gifts you can ever get. I am pretty hard to buy for and I normally tell people not to bother buying me anything. However, this Christmas I got the most amazing set of personalized blankets. My grand children all pooled together to buy me this really special gift. There is one to go on my bed and one to go on the spare bed but I am considering putting them over the back of the sofas because I would like to show them off to all of my visitors. I think that it was such a kind thought and am trying to think of some lovely gifts that I can give to them next Christmas as a way of showing my appreciation. Getting them some custom blankets seems like a good way to repay them, but I am not sure whether they would be as keen on the idea as me. I think that I will ask my daughters what they think their children might like, as I think it is far better to buy people something that they want rather than wasting time, money and effort on something that they do not.
